The Digital Product Manager is an essential part of the USTA's digital team as he/she owns the vision, strategy, and roadmap of one of more consumer facing digital products. The Digital Product manager is the USTA's cross-functional champion bringing together business owners, engineering, and design teams to ideate new feature sets and create the product backlog. He/she is responsible for the full lifecycle of the digital products from ideation, implementation, and on-going enhancements of the product.

  • Work to develop, implement and manage Pro Tennis digital products across all platforms including USOpenSeries.com, USOpen.org, Social Media, Mobile, and other emerging platforms;
  • Work closely with IBM on the development of usopen.org digital platforms and associated digital products;
  • Assist with digital business development alongside Director, Digital Product Management by identifying and introducing new technologies, innovative partnerships, games and interactive applications, and social media opportunities to help achieve the organizations goals;
  • Work closely with Director, Digital Products, Managing Director, Ticketing and Digital Strategy and Manager, Digital Strategy and Partnerships to develop sponsorship strategies, identify new potential opportunities and collaborate on other digital revenue initiatives;
  • Establish and manage KPIs across digital products be ensuring development teams implement the appropriate tracking tools and effectively communicate analytics findings to cross-functional teams to drive product growth, feature sets, and completely new products;
Qualifications/Other:
  • 3 - 5 Years of digital marketing/product management experience
  • Experience and comfort level with various analytics and market research tools;
  • Creative background to turn user problems into digital experience opportunities;
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and products efficiently at the same time;
  • Good analytical and problem-solving abilities, along with an ability to collaborate cross-functionally;
  • Superb general troubleshooting skills and strong attention to detail;
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent listening skills and the ability to adjust to the personalities of various partners;
  • Strong project management, organization and prioritization skills;
  • Track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout the full lifecycle;
  • Proven ability to develop best in class digital products;
  • Sports industry experience preferred;
