The successful candidate will contribute to the discovery and validation of new oncology drug targets, and will be using histological techniques to test the effects of Ab based treatments in different preclinical animal models.

The successful candidate will use in situ hybridization, immunohistochemistry and histological techniques to monitor tumor infiltrating leukocytes and target proteins in animal models. The candidate is expected to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic team environment. The candidate will be working with different teams and support our group in technical and computational capacity. A successful candidate is expected to have strong technical, analytical and organizational skills, and attention to detail is required for this position.

Collection of murine tissues/tumors and blood
  • Experience with basic histological techniques including specimen sectioning, staining, image acquisition and analysis
  • Experience with in situ hybridization using ACD RNAscope platform is required
  • Familiarity with in IHC platforms is strongly preferred
  • Experience with Indica Labs HALO software
  • Experience with fully automated VENTANA IHC/ISH system
  • Experience with in vivo mouse models is preferred
  • Sterile cell culture techniques
  • Strong computer skills and knowledge of MS Office
  • Familiarity with the basics of immunology and molecular biology
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills including the ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Demonstrated creativity and independency
  • Ability to effectively collaborate as part of cross-functional teams
  • Clear and professional verbal and written communication
