The Manager/Senior Manager, Marketing will contribute to the financial success of EYLEA?? (aflibercept) Injection. Primary responsibility is to assist with the development, implementation and follow-through of the strategic and tactical plans/programs for EYLEA.

  • Identifies market opportunities and makes recommendations to enhance market potential and brand penetration.
  • Develops and executes communications programs for Healthcare Professionals to support brand messaging.
  • Overseas creation and development of print and digital brand promotional materials to support field force efforts.
  • Designs and delivers relevant patient outreach and educational programs.
  • Oversees development and maintenance of branded website.
  • Experience managing web/media activities; demonstrated ability deploying innovative print and digital media.
  • Provides input for public relations efforts.
  • Maintains Branding Elements.
  • Participates in relevant scientific congresses and conferences to stay up to date with relevant literature.
  • Experience managing congress and conference related marketing activities.
  • Develops professional relationships and contacts with physician experts.
  • Works closely with Medical Specialists Marketing Advisory Board to ensure development of materials and programs that meet the needs in the field.
  • Provides input for market research activities with the Market Research Team.
  • Understands US reimbursement environment including Governmental programs including Medicare Part B.
  • Understands key drivers for patient access.
  • Interfaces with team responsible for designing and implementing Regeneron's product reimbursement program and policies to ensure a successful reimbursement program.
  • Tracks market spend to ensure project timelines and expenses are kept on scope and budget.
  • Serves as a champion for the brand and for product-specific challenges and opportunities.
  • Supports development of innovative and pioneering promotional strategies to differentiate Regeneron in the ophthalmology market place.
  • Ensures that the marketing processes, programs, and internal reports are developed, implemented, and effectively administered to be consistent with corporate guidance and all regulatory, legal, ethical guidelines.
  • Assumes responsibility for directing and monitoring all third party contractors and vendors to ensure maximum ROl.
  • Ability to deal with all levels of the organization.

  • Must be willing to travel approximately 25-30%.
  • Must be willing to travel on weekends to conferences and meetings, as needed.

  • Understanding of pharmaceutical selling process and respect for medical service specialists.
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 8-10 Years of pharmaceutical experience.
  • At least 5-7 years of pharmaceutical in-line marketing experience preferred
  • Ophthalmology (Retina) experience a plus.
  • Biologic/self-injectable experience a plus.
  • Prior experience developing and managing budgets and timelines.
  • Pharmaceutical sales experience strongly desired.
  • Science background preferred.
  • Biotechnology or small specialty pharmaceutical marketing experience desired.
