A unique opportunity to play a critical role in developing and optimizing the antibody isolation technology within the Therapeutic Proteins organization. We are seeking a self-motivated scientist with innovative mindset to join our antibody development team to explore new and optimize current technologies for antibody isolation. The candidate will lead the hybridoma antibody isolation group, oversee research associates, and conduct research to address fundamental questions that relates to existing technologies and design pilot experiments to test new ideas. This hands-on bench scientist will also contribute as a part of the team for the VelocImmune?? therapeutic antibody development.

  • Align and prioritize group's activities towards therapeutic antibody development
  • Conduct research to optimize existing technologies and design pilot experiments to test new ideas
  • Collaborate and coordinate research and development activities with members across the company
Communicate and present findings to the team in intra- and inter-departmental meetings
  • Maintain accurate experimental records
  • PhD in Cell Biology or Immunology
  • 5-10 years of post-graduate independent research/work experience, preferably in antibody development
  • Proven publication record of scientific excellence
  • Solid technical skills in Cell Biology, B/T cell immunology such as flow cytometry, aseptic cell culture, ELISPOT, confocal microscopy
  • Familiarity with hybridoma isolation is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills verbal and written
  • Ability to lead, collaborate, and work independently as well as be a team player
  • Attention to detail and excellent organization skills are a must
  • Working experience with rodents is required
