The Sr. Manager/Manager, Global Marketing will have responsibility and accountability for supporting the development and implementation of a global HCP and patient strategies for sarilumab, a fully human monoclonal antibody in development for the treatment of moderate to severe Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA). Primary responsibility is to lead and/or assist in the execution of key marketing projects and initiatives in concert with Alliance Partner. This role will focus on Global commercial activities.

  • Collaborate with Alliance Partner to develop and implement core HCP promotional materials that will be used by affiliates.
  • Responsible for engagement with the national, regional, and local scientific meetings and congresses in alignment with brand strategies and objectives.
  • Collaborate with Alliance Partner to develop and implement patient support programs and educational materials to be used by affiliates.
  • Provide input to, and utilize findings from, market research studies dedicated to understanding needs of health care professionals and patients with respect to the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis.
  • Tracks activities and spend to ensure project timelines and expenses are kept on scope and budget.
  • Assist in the development and execution of a Global Brand Plan and tactics; provide input into the budget process for HCP and Global Consumer activities.
  • Assist in managing and partnering with all Global agencies as appropriate.
  • Ensure an effective and productive partnership with Alliance Partner in meeting brand objectives.
  • Strong communications & presentation skills required.
  • Ability to lead and work effectively across multiple functions, stakeholders, and Alliance partners.
  • Scientific acumen and the ability to interpret clinical data to support promotional objectives.
  • Results oriented, self-motivated.
  • Ability to work in an evolving and dynamic environment/flexibility.
  • Must be willing to travel approximately 25-30% (including weekend travel as needed).
  • Bachelors Degree
  • Minimum of 7-8 years of "progressive" industry/relevant professional experience; 3+ years of pharmaceutical/biotech marketing, product management, or related experience.
  • Global marketing experience a plus.
  • Experience with product launch(es) helpful.
  • Rheumatology and/or inflammation experience with injectable biologics a plus.
  • Previous work within a co-promote or alliance is a plus.
  • Previous sales experience a plus.
