Summary
Develops, manages, and implements tactical and strategic space plans. Analyzes space utilization data and makes decisions for best utilization of space while balancing the overall needs of REGN.

Responsibilities
  • Interfaces with Executive Management to gain insight into business trends relative to space requirements and Master Planning input.
  • Prepares test fits and layout options as necessary to respond to individual user groups needs. Prepares and presents concepts and programmatic documentation for end user approvals.
  • Subject Matter expert for laboratory and office design developing schematics that positively impact the quality of space delivered to the scientific and administrative community.
  • Participates in, or leads, project teams through Design Development to ensure Architectural, installation and construction documentation adheres to REGN standards and is in alignment with Program.
  • Partners with internal resources, consultants, architects, contractors and other providers for project sized capital renovation projects to maximize safety, efficiency, work flow and effectiveness.
  • Ownership of FF&E selection and specification in accordance with REGN standards or by special approval.
  • Makes suggestions to continuously evolve standards to align with new workplace trends and to support innovation in the laboratories and teaming environments.
  • Plans, procures, and manages office and laboratory furniture, fixtures, and equipment installations, and day-to-day personnel relocations.
  • Utilizes and administers IWMS software. Responsible for accurate IWMS data for management reporting modules.
  • Provides guidance to less-experienced staff members. Possible Managerial responsibilities.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills are required. Excellent writing skills and business acumen needed. Strong customer service outlook mandatory.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree. Interior Design degree or CFM a plus.
Masters Degree in Architecture or Interior Design preferred. LEED, or well accreditation a plus
Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD required. Knowledge of IWMS/TriRiga strongly preferred. Advanced knowledge of MS suite
(Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
8-10 years of experience in Space Planning required. Laboratory planning experience a must.
