Summary
This Facilities Coordinator position supports the space planning function to maximize safety, efficiency, and effectiveness. Individual will assist in the planning, procurement, and installation of furniture, fixtures and scientific laboratory equipment, and all MAC activity.

Responsibilities
  • Provides excellent customer service to end-users at the Administrative and Manager level on the execution and fulfillment of space and equipment installation requests.
  • Assists internal resources, vendors, consultants, contractors, and other providers responsible for equipment or furniture procurement and installations to fulfill space or equipment requests.
  • Takes direction from the Space Planners or other senior members of the team in the ordering and installation of individual office furniture, accessories, ergonomic accessories or lab equipment.
  • Schedules and supervises labor for day to day MAC (Moves/Adds/Changes) activity.
  • Works with IT, engineering, other internal Facilities resources, end-users and fellow members of the space planning team on minor reconfigurations.
  • Works with EHS, internal resources and vendors for signage, inventory control, and office/lab or computer accessories to address lab and off ergonomics.
  • Receives and implements TriRiga IWMS work tickets; takes action, closes or routes as necessary.
  • Responsible for accuracy of employee location data in TriRiga.
  • Partners with the Facilties Equipment and Asset Management groups for proper documentation of scientific equipment and other capital assets, ensuring TriRiga updates are made to inventory or equipment location changes. Documents inventory changes to new and existing equipment.
  • Partners with IT to identify copier/fax machine locations site wide.
  • Gathers and publishes weekly new hire locations in a timely manner.
  • Applies policies and procedures to make decisions and escalates issues to management.
Requirements
  • Associate degree/ Bachelor degree required
  • 0- 2 yrs. of related experience
  • Basic knowledge of the space planning process. Effective organizational, interpersonal and communication skills are required. Strong customer service outlook is mandatory.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft applications.
  • IWMS TriRiga familiarity or the ability to learn a plus.
  • Knowledge of drafting principles and basic ability to read floor plans helpful.
