Summary
This position is responsible for coordinating the asset management lifecycle process. The scope of this role includes, but is not limited to, tagging capital & non capital equipment and recording all required asset information into the Tririga IWMS database. Performs inventories, searches for equipment that has moved/relocated, and updates in the Tririga database. Coordinates asset dispositions with scientists and vendors. Works closely with lab personnel to provide equipment contract/warranty information. This position will also coordinate ordering, ensuring delivery, installation and operation schedules for laboratory equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Tag capital and non-capital Laboratory equipment arriving in the receiving department on a daily basis
  • Enter data in Tririga IWMS (Integrated Workplace Management System)
o Create new records (assets, contracts, warranties, etc.)
o Update existing records
o Maintain accurate asset information
  • Track and update asset inventory throughout the campus & update IWMS as needed
o Perform annual in depth asset inventory
o Perform periodic asset inventory of laboratories
  • Run asset reports and database queries as needed
  • Schedule and coordinate asset disposition process
  • Coordinate service contract/warranties related to lab equipment
  • Provide end-to-end management of capital laboratory equipment orders
o Coordinate with end users and approvers to ensure timely order process
o Enter and update records in IWMS and iPro as needed during order
o Coordinate with vendor for shipment and delivery
o Coordinate with Receiving dock on expected delivery of asset
  • Track network printers and fax machines
Requirements
  • Ability to work within a team environment with an enthusiastic and positive work attitude
  • Ability to perform work duties with limited supervision
  • Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers to drive a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Must be detail oriented and have strong ability to multitask
  • General computer knowledge with intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and the Internet preferred.
1-3 years of experience working in laboratory setting.
Ordering, Receiving, Asset Management Experience.
Minimal educational requirements: Associates Degree, Bachelors Degree
Equivalent experience (include # of years) in lieu of degree: 3 to 5 years of Asset Management Life Cycle Experience
